OK, so how many times have you heard that before? I've lost count.
Noone likes being sick. Oh really? You mean it's not just me? I'm not the only person in this whole wide world who hates throwing up? Here was me thinking everyone else found it an enjoyable passtime!
People just don't get it, do they? I don't know about you, but it infuriates me when people say this. It's like they think you're all of a sudden going to have an epiphany and realise "That's right, nobody likes being sick, I think I'm... no wait... I AM cured!".

Yeap, I hate that, I'd like to throw my spikey boot at them! I told a co-worker that and she replied with, "oh so if that happens to someone you can always say, I don't have to clean it up because I have emetophobia, hehehe" she seriously thought it was the cutest thing. I had to smile and walk away before I slapped her.
ReplyDeletei've only just recently told my husband, mom and sisters (i'm 58 yrs old....suffering for 50 years) i made my husband promise under threat of divorce that he couldn't laugh, make fun of me or call me crazy before i would tell him.....he was very understanding.....but i just dont want to hear.....nobody likes to throw up from anybody.......
